Booker T. Washington wanted to learn but had no place to do it! What did he do? Built a school, brick by brick. We’ll have LEGO bricks for you to build your own school building just the way you want it!
Booker T. Washington was born a slave who would go on to become a teacher, speaker and advisor to many U.S. presidents. He would found the Tuskeegee Institute in Alabama---now known as Tuskeegee University---a school dedicated to the training of teachers. It’s this building of the school --- brick by brick--- that we’ll honor by building our own LEGO school. We’ll bring the bricks, you bring the creativity!
