You want your child to have all the tools they need to start school. Here’s the toolbox! Let’s start with a story that your child will love, and add music, get everyone up and moving and sprinkle in other fun to make it all stick. We’re saving a spot for you!

P is for pond! This literacy-based program is for children from birth to pre-k and their families. We will sing, talk, read, write, and play together to develop the pre-literacy skills your little ones need to get ready to read and write. We will dive in with Turtle Splash: Countdown at the Pond by Cathryn Falwell and Croaky Pokey by Ethan Long. 

After our program, find the books Turtle Splash: Countdown at the Pond by Cathryn Falwell and Croaky Pokey by Ethan Long to read again and pickup at your preferred branch. Need assistance? Contact us at 904-255-BOOK.

Registration is required for this event, and must be completed two hours prior to the start time. A library card is required for registration. If you do not have a card, click here to obtain a card.

Attendance is limited to 40 participants. Your Zoom name must match your registration name for you to be admitted to the program. A link to the Zoom meeting room will be sent 1 hour prior to the event.
