Is your child constantly asking you “why?” and curious about how things work? Then Little Explorers is made for them! We start with a great story, add movement and exploration with our senses to help kids better understand the world around them. Let’s build pathways to knowledge!
Bam, smash, and crash with construction vehicles! This exploration-based program is for children from birth to pre-k and their families. We will use books to nurture curiosity, create, and discover the world around us. This week we will read Little Excavator by Anna Dewdney and Smashy Town by Andrew Zimmerman and David Clemesha. After investigating our theme through stories, songs, and a game we will conclude our program with a hands-on activity.
Each week we will use a variety of materials that you may have at home for our exploration activity. This week’s needed materials are:
• Used/empty toilet paper and paper towel rolls
• Liquid glue
• Piece of paper or cardboard
After our program, find the books Little Excavator by Anna Dewdney and Smashy Town by Andrew Zimmerman and David Clemesh to read again and pickup at your preferred branch. Need assistance? Contact us at 904-255-BOOK.
