This story time includes songs, stories, and instruments that promote basic musical concepts and terminology while incorporating pre-literacy skills for reading and writing.
Let’s get the wiggles out! This music-based program is for children from birth to pre-k and their families. Through books, songs, and movement activities we will build pre-literacy skills. We will dance like dinosaurs with Dinosaurumpus by Tony Mitton and Dinosaur Rap by John Foster.
Each week we will use an instrument to sing a song and explore sounds and movement. This week we will be using a rhythm sticks. Grab some wooden spoons and get ready to dance.
After our program, find Dinosaurumpus by Tony Mitton here and Dinosaur Rap by John Foster here to read again and pickup at your preferred branch. Access a digital copy of Dinosaur Rap instantly here. Need assistance? Contact us at 904-255-BOOK.
