Imagine if the library were made just for you and your friends. What types of programs and events would you have? Join the Teen Advisory Board to tell the library what you and your friends like to do, and see the changes start to happen. (For ages 12 – 17)
Let's explore this new frontier of Teen Advisory Board! This month, we will have our second virtual meeting using Zoom. Come talk with other teens across the county about the library, our program themes, and provide input for future programs you would like to see. October's theme is Banned Books Week and our activities will discuss frequently banned titles.
All teens are welcome to attend the program. If you are currently registered as a teen library volunteer, you can receive 1 volunteer hour for this program. Unfortunately, no new teen library volunteer paperwork can be processed at this time.
Registration is required for this event, and must be completed 24 hours prior to the start time. A library card is required for registration. If you do not have a card, click here to obtain a card.
Attendance is limited to 40 participants. Your Zoom name must match your registration name for you to be admitted to the program. A link to the Zoom meeting room will be sent 1 hour prior to the event.
Pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, accommodations for persons with disabilities are available upon request. Please allow 1–2 business days to process. Last-minute requests will be accepted, but may not be possible to fulfill. Please ask for the Special Needs Library at 255-2665 or email JPLTBSpecialNeeds@coj.net.
