Ready to ring in the new year? Join us from the comfort of home for a virtual New Year’s Eve practice party! Countdown to the end of the program and celebrate the new year along with your friends from the Jacksonville Public Library during this special program! This week's theme is Winter Wonderland and we’ll practice counting down to New Year’s inspired by the book The Night Before New Year’s by Natasha Wing, and then we’ll get ready for the real thing by practicing our countdown and making our own party hat! We’ll use basic art supplies that you probably have at home already: Square piece of paper String or yarn Tape Markers, crayons, or colored pencils Decorations (e.g. glitter, sequins, pompoms, ribbon, etc.)
Registration is required for this event, and must be completed two hours prior to the start time. A library card is required for registration. If you do not have a card, click here to obtain a card.
Attendance is limited to 40 participants. Your Zoom name must match your registration name for you to be admitted to the program. A link to the Zoom meeting room will be sent 1 hour prior to the event.
